    Hourglass

Hourglass proposes an interaction art pavilion where visitors create the changes in dune landscape through transportation of sand. The bowl-shaped sand collector is gradually filled up with sand and formed as dune hills. The sand dune is reflected on reflective roof ceiling to extend the landscape upwards which forms hourglass visual effect. The large curved reflective roof above the sand is of light weight and  supported by steel circular columns to constitutes the horizon of the dune hourglass landscape. Our narratives address the relationship between our bodies, time, space and earthy nature to prioritise the dynamics and dialogues. Building a contemporary representation of nature in such interactive way is to deeply interconnect with earth environment.
